Right Ho, Jeeves by P.G. Wodehouse

Right Ho, Jeeves is set in the early 1900s. It’s the story of a young, outspoken Englishman: Bertie Wooster, and his ever-failing attempts to bring two couples together. The story is set in the country at his Aunt Agatha's manor. Bertie is accompanied by his extremely mentally capable butler, Jeeves. Rather than leave the case of the stricken relationships to Jeeves, Bertie has convinced himself the Jeeves has lost his grip, and takes the case on himself, thus resulting in chaos. The humorous story ends with Bertie finally allowing Jeeves to take up the case. Jeeves puts into effect an ingenious plan that involves tricking his young master into taking an 11 mile bicycle ride at night. The story ends forthwith after a brilliant success on Jeeves’ part.
