Sundry news items of interest

Greetings.
I have moved my place of residence recently. The ensuing exhaustion has not allowed me to post as frequently as I would have wished. But now the settling in process is mostly completed, and my new pad is starting to feel like home.

At the same time I am sitting for a portrait. This consumes a fair amount of my already precious time. I trust the results will be up for all to view as soon as it is finished. I shall try to send out an announcement. I am pleased to be able to offer a first view of this great work of art on my blog-I am certain it will soon be occupying a place of honor next to that great lady, Mona.

Also in the works- though probably a little further in the future- is a historical look at the great sea battle of Salamis. It has recently come to light that one of my great-great ancestors was actually present at the battle. I and my team of researchers are in the process of translating and reading this illustrious frog's journals. We will share the results here.

BAD English

I've found out that not everybody over here (in Jerusalem) speaks good English, if the even speak it at all,
here is a good example of bad English.

S. Frog Here

To say that I am not happy about our new neighbor would be the understatement of the year. Gigi the Iguana is about as similar to me as a Samurai Warrior is to David. It is not comfortable to have such a fearsome personage in the house. Thankfully, though of course I have the run of the house, Gigi does not. Gigi stays in her cage. We would naturally handcuff a Samurai Warrior if we happened to have one visiting us.

But despite my natural misgivings, I am still appreciative of David's photographic efforts to document the monster. Kudos!

Greetings and Salutations from S. Frog

Dear admirers,
It is with great pleasure and pride that welcome you to my newest publication. Having spent my vast energies and talents in many famous endeavors throughout the years, I have decided to devote the golden twilight of my life to quieter pursuits.

Hence this blog.

I shall, as often as I am free from my vast correspondence with numerous famous personages, and from my pipe and book, endeavor to write here the memoirs of my long and eventful life, as well as any other pearls of wisdom I feel I must impart to the younger generations.

I have also employed the services of 3 of the finest minds of the 21st Century to aide me in my writing: David, Daniel, and Kate. They will bear the burden of the more menial, every-day writing, leaving my superior intellect free for meditation, and the occasional brilliant piece of literature.

Again, welcome one and all. I know that you will be edified, amused, and enthralled.
